03 How a project runs

Four steps. No surprises.

You’re involved at every stage, and nothing goes live until you’re happy with it.

    Preview

    Tell us about your business. We set an art direction around your brand and design your new homepage, free of charge. You see it on a private link before you commit to anything.

  2. 02 /

    Go ahead

    If you like it, we agree the scope and quote, you sign the agreement and pay a 50% deposit, then share your content, photos and logins through a short onboarding form. Your project is booked in.

  3. 03 /

    Build

    We build the remaining pages, mobile first, with performance, accessibility and search built in. You review everything on the private link, with two rounds of revisions included. Nothing goes live until you approve it in writing.

  4. 04 /

    Launch

    After the final 50% payment, we test the layout on desktop and phone, check every form and link, connect your domain and go live. Then choose a care plan or manage the site yourself.

Both plans are rolling monthly with 30 days’ notice, or pay annually and get two months free. You can move between plans with 30 days’ notice. Domain renewal fees are paid by you, and we’ll remind you before they’re due.

How much does a website cost?

Every project is quoted individually, because no two businesses need exactly the same thing. Tell us about your business and what you need, and we’ll come back with a clear quote and recommend the package that fits.

Do you use templates or page builders?

No. Every site is designed from a blank page around your brand and custom built, which is why they load quickly and don’t look like anyone else’s.

Do I need my own photos?

Your own photos of your work, premises or team are always best, and we’ll help you choose and prepare them. Where you don’t have the right images yet, we create art directed atmosphere imagery that suits your trade.

Will my site need a cookie banner?

Usually not. Our sites don’t use tracking, analytics cookies or embeds from other sites by default, and fonts and videos are hosted on your own site. If you want visitor stats, we can add analytics that don’t use cookies.

Is the homepage preview really free?

Yes. We design your new homepage before you commit to anything. If you like it, we’ll quote to build the rest of the site. If you don’t, there’s nothing to pay.

How do payments work?

A 50% deposit starts the build, and the remaining 50% is due before your site goes live.

How many revisions do I get?

Two rounds of revisions are included. You review the whole site on a private link, we make your changes, and nothing goes live until you approve it.

Who hosts the site?

We set up fast, secure hosting and connect your domain. You always own your domain. After launch, choose a monthly hosting and care plan where we look after everything, or take the site and manage it yourself.

Do you do SEO?

SEO foundations are included in every site: page titles, descriptions, structured data, image alt text, and Google Search Console set up with your sitemap submitted. Ongoing SEO campaigns aren’t included.

Can you redesign my existing site?

Yes. We’ll review what you have, keep what works (your logo, colours and content you’re happy with) and rebuild the rest to a higher standard.
