J Studio is a trading name of Kleno Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16793862), with its registered office at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. Kleno Ltd is responsible for any personal information collected through this website. You can contact us at support@j-studio.co.uk.

What we collect

If you send an enquiry through our contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address and message, and, if you give them, your business name, current website, what you’d like from us, the package you’re interested in and your timeline. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare your free homepage preview and discuss your project.
• To prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, to deliver your project.
• To keep the website secure and running properly.

We never sell your details or use them for marketing without asking you first. We use them because we have a legitimate interest in answering your enquiry, or because you’ve asked us to take steps before entering into a contract.

Who else handles it

• Netlify hosts this website and receives contact form submissions. Netlify is based in the United States and transfers data under safeguards approved for UK data protection law.
• Our email provider delivers messages to our inbox.

Links to other websites, such as the sites in our case studies, take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 12 months, then delete them. If you become a client, the details needed to deliver and support your project are kept for as long as we work together and as required for our business records.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to us using it. Email support@j-studio.co.uk and we’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or tracking. Our fonts, images and videos are all served from our own site, so nothing is shared with advertisers or third parties while you browse, and there’s nothing to accept or turn off.

The site remembers, for the length of your visit only, that you’ve already seen the short intro animation. This is stored in your browser’s session storage, isn’t a cookie, is never sent to us and is cleared when you close the tab.
